I used to chase the next adventure
These days I mostly chase two small children.
I still love going somewhere new, figuring things out as I go, and coming home with a good story. My definition of adventure has just expanded to include getting everyone out of the house with both shoes on.
How I ended up here
My career has been less of a straight line and more of a gradual widening of the lens.
I started at Tripadvisor, working directly with customers. Then came seven years at Google, where I began as a Solutions Consultant supporting some of the company's largest advertisers. Over time, I found myself increasingly drawn to the problems behind the problems: how teams shared knowledge, how people learned, how support worked at scale, and what needed to change when something wasn't working.
That took me into program management, operations, enablement and communications. I ran a Google-wide career development program that grew to more than 50,000 users, built resources and systems used by thousands of employees, worked across teams and senior stakeholders, and helped turn plenty of messy problems into something people could actually act on.
More recently, I've worked with former Google executive Jenny Wood and Courage Collective, helping build the operations, communications and resources around her coaching business and NYT bestseller Wild Courage.
Looking back, the job titles changed more than the work did: understand what's needed, bring some structure to it, and help make it happen.
